FGV CERI and Light organize workshop on Predictive Maintenance
Light Electricity Services and FGV CERI jointly organized the Machine Learning Techniques Applications workshop in Power and Electricity Distribution Companies. The event was held at the Light Theate, located at Avenida Marechal Floriano, and took place between 9am and 1pm on November 27th.
Speakers at the workshop were presented by Luiz Vaz and André Carneiro, Light engineers directly involved in the R&D project "Prediction of failure probabilities and estimation of claims in underground distribution network structures, equipment and circuits". This is an ANEEL R&D registered under number PD-00382-0111 / 2018. It is carried out by FGV CERI in partnership with Waxsol and Facto Energy.
The director of FGV CERI, Joisa Dutra, began a sequence of presentations on the theme Utilities of The Future. Waxsol's Bruno Regueira spoke about RFid application in risk maintenance, followed by Roberto Velasques of Facto Energy, who dealt with smart grid. Diogo Lisbona, of FGV CERI, discussed cost-benefit analysis of smart grid deployment projects.
Finally, the event was closed by Rafael Martins de Souza, FGV CERI researcher who presented the results obtained so far with the R&D project that is being finalized.
