Genaro is an Associate Researcher at FGV CERI, Professor of the Professional Master's Degree (MFEE), Chief Credit Officer (CCO) at Geru and Member of the Board of Directors of Empresa de Planejamento Energético (EPE). He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1998), a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1999) and a PhD in Economics from the Graduate School of Economics of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV EPGE, 2005). He has experience in Economics, with emphasis on Mathematical, Econometric and Statistical Methods and Models. Extensive experience in complex projects and team leadership built in a leading international financial institution. He was Superintendent of Risk Control at Itaú.
