CERI on the road: FGV CERI researchers meet with professors at Colorado Mining School
Edson Gonçalves and Rafael Martins de Souza, researchers at FGV CERI, had meetings with professors Ian Lange and Jared Carbone, both from the Division of Economics and Business of the Colorado School of Mines. The Colorado School of Mines ranks as the best mining school in the world.
In addition to serving as a Professor at the Colorado School of Mines, Ian Lange is a member of the White House Council of Economic Advisors, a group of economic advisers to the United States government. His research interests are related to Energy Economics, Applied Microeconometrics and Behavioral Economics.
Professor Jared Carbone has interests in assessing the economic impacts of environmental regulation via the use of computable general equilibrium models.
Both meetings addressed topics related to possibilities for collaboration in teaching and research activities and the development of economic regulation and infrastructure sectors in Brazil.
