FGV CERI Data Science Team Holds Machine Learning Training Sessions for Light Employees
The FGV CERI Data Science team held December 2, 4, and 6, 2019 Light Machine Learning training sessions for employees.
The training sessions, foreseen in a Research and Development (R&D) project of the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) entitled Prediction of probability of failure and estimation of losses in structures, equipment and circuits of underground distribution networks. The purpose of the training is to provide Light employees with basic theoretical knowledge about the Machine Learning models implemented during the project. It is understood that this type of training is crucial for the successful transfer of technology developed by the FGV CERI team to Light.
The training sessions were conducted by Rafael Martins de Souza, Pedro Medeiros Teixeira, Camila Lobo and Franklin de Oliveira. They were preceded by a Workshop open to all Light employees and will be followed by in-company training sessions, so that the technology transfer is complete.
